Uniformed Security Officers
A visible, professional presence that deters problems and responds when they happen.
Uniformed officers are the foundation of site security. Their presence alone discourages theft, trespass and vandalism, and their training lets them act quickly and correctly when something does go wrong.
Duties
- Access control. Checking credentials, managing visitors and keeping logs.
- Patrols. Inside and out, on foot or by vehicle.
- Incident response. First response, coordination with police and fire, and written reports.
- Customer service. Directions, escorts and help for employees and visitors.
Where they work
Corporate offices, condominiums and gated communities, construction and commercial sites, retail centers, hospitals and hotels.
