FFL Firearm Transfer Service

We offer FFL transfers as a service to our M7 Academy students, cadets, operators and trainees, to security officers, and to state and local government employees. We also welcome local residents at our Hollywood, Florida location, at a lower price than businesses that charge a premium.

Before you buy

• Age: you must be 21 or older to receive any firearm, long guns and handguns alike.
• Handguns: Florida residents only.
• ID: a valid government-issued photo ID showing your current address.
• Eligibility: you must be legally allowed to buy and possess firearms under federal and Florida law, and pass the background check.

Buying a firearm online?

A firearm bought online or from out of state must be shipped to a licensed dealer (FFL), who completes the transfer to you in person. Give your seller our FFL details below, or contact us and we'll send them for you.

How it works

1. Contact us first. Let us know a firearm is coming, and send your seller a copy of our FFL.
2. We receive the firearm. We log it in and let you know when it has been processed.
3. Complete your details. We send you a secure link to enter your information and photos of your driver's license before pickup.
4. Waiting period. Miami-Dade and Broward counties require a wait of 5 full business days. It starts the day after the date on the seller's invoice, and weekends and legal holidays don't count. With a valid Florida Concealed Weapon License (CWL), pickup can be the same day.
5. Pick-up. Please bring your valid government photo ID and your Florida Concealed Weapon License (if applicable). You will complete ATF Form 4473 and an FDLE background check on-site. Once approved, your firearm will be released. Please wait for our confirmation that your order is ready before coming in.

Fees

Contact us for current pricing. Every transfer includes a background check fee, which is non-refundable. The transfer fee is still due if a firearm has to be returned to the seller.
